Feature overview

AACGUARD features

Client-side anti-cheat for real CS:GO / CS 1.6 / CS2 community servers – focused on catching cheats and repeat offenders, not legit players.

Tied to

Integrates with
Existing servers
Made for communities
Client-side, admin-visible

AACGUARD runs next to your existing CS servers and plugins, giving you scan results, history and evidence you can actually act on.

Cheat-focused checks instead of random system scans.
Steam-linked scans so bans are tied to real identities.
Panel + history so you can justify actions to players.

Core behaviour

Cheat-focused

Signals only

Looks for loaders, injected modules, and cheat traces – not random overlays, music players or Discord.

Steam-linked

Identity-aware

Every scan is tied to Steam ID, Steam name and a clear verdict, so your bans map to real accounts.

Drop-in

Server-friendly

Runs next to your existing servers and plugins – no special host required, no migration from your stack.

Client scan engine

Scans run only when the player presses Start or Restart. Nothing is scanned silently in the background.

  • Processes & modules – checks running processes and DLLs for known cheats and loaders.
  • Files & traces – game folders, AppData, Downloads, Desktop, Recycle Bin, USB traces, Prefetch, Amcache, Shimcache, Run keys.
  • Configs – reads CS:GO / CS2 / Steam custom configs (including autoexec.cfg) that are not default.
  • Browser history – optional checks for cheat sites / searches as extra signals (where allowed).
  • Score-based verdicts – combines everything into CLEAN / SUSPICIOUS / CHEAT DETECTED with a numeric score.

Data & web panel

The panel is designed to help admins explain decisions, track repeat offenders, and show players that bans are based on something real.

  • Masked IPs – IPs stored only in masked form (for example 2*.42*.**.2*).
  • Public “data wall” – optional public list of scanned / detected players with verdicts.
  • Live stats – total scans, unique players, flags, last 24h detections.
  • Long-term history – scans kept so admins can see patterns across weeks and months.

Tech & roadmap

  • User-mode client today, designed to be safe next to VAC.
  • Panel stack – PHP + MariaDB panel on a VPS in Germany.
  • Edge & analytics – Cloudflare + analytics (Google Analytics, Matomo, etc.) for traffic and protection.
  • Roadmap – deeper / kernel-assisted checks where possible, more artifacts, and server plugins / APIs.
